- Make sure it's your best work. I often get "I have better _____" and "Oh, this _____ didn't work"

- Make sure you review everything before it is examined. Be sure that it works.

If all these things happen, you're more likely to get in. However, your best work just might not be what we're looking for. Doing these won't get you accepted, but they will dramatically increase your chances.
